[00:00:34] RON: I want you to be in the affiliate army. What is it? Let's learn.
[00:00:38] CORY: That's right, Ron. All right. Building your affiliate army. So it takes, you've got to follow the steps, right? You've got to figure out the who you're serving and what you're doing for that. You've got to figure out what that offer is. And test it, make sure it's working, make sure it's the right thing for people. And then when it's time to scale, one of the ways to do that [00:01:00] is through affiliates. And so Ron, you and I, we can go and talk to let's just say 10 people each a day and make some sales that way. But what if we add another 10 people also talking to 10,
[00:01:13] RON: you have a lot of people talking and talking about your offer and getting in front of people. And if it's a numbers game, then play it
[00:01:19] CORY: That's right. That's right. So why an affiliate army? Because it increases the speed at which you can do sales. So, uh, there's a couple of one negative side I wanted to bring up or I want people to be aware of. And in regards to an affiliates, and that is the first, our first attempt having an affiliates for profits with podcasts.com. Didn't go so well because we didn't necessarily have a bunch of sales folks. Right? Like we had people that loved the product and love the brand and they would talk about it when it came up.
[00:01:53] RON: Right.
[00:01:54] CORY: But now. We have a true sales individual that is in [00:02:00] charge of the program that he has multiple two comma club awards because of the sales generating activities he has done and been good at. And now he is going to lead the charge. Right? So we have a true sales professional that is building the affiliate army for profits with podcasts. So, I mean, that's the one negative side. Make sure That you're going to start one, to have a true sales person, kind of help lead that charge. Uh, you want the brand, you don't want the raving fans, you know, the people that love it, that are in there, but you also true sales folks. And so, you know, that was kind of the one main thing I wanted to talk about in regards to have a true sales person. So it increased the speed. What else comments do you have on that?
[00:02:45] RON: Well, I think you hit it right on the nose. Like it has got to be the right type of person. It's gotta be the right individual that understands sales. That wants to be an affiliate to actually earn an [00:03:00] income from the affiliate, not a side thing, right? Like he is a professional affiliate marketer. That's what it needed to be. Our first person was not our first person loved what we were doing was super appreciative of how we did it and wanted to try. Affiliate sales, right. A little bit different, a little bit different vibe.
[00:03:21] CORY: Yup. Yup. All right. So take away if you want to increase, if you want to scale affiliates can be the way to go and then just make sure you, you know, you have the right person helping you, right. Like that's kind of my takeaway from that.
[00:03:34] RON: Yep. Nope. That's exactly it. That's exactly. And so just make sure you surround yourself with the right people to push you, to get better, to keep you focused. And to help you create the impact you're called to do no fluff, no BS. Just impact. Go make some
