[00:00:33] RON: sales and becoming the authority.

[00:00:37] CORY: Yeah, that's right. Ron, why is this one important? Why is it important to have sales and be in authority? And so I'm going to relate this. though. To an author, anybody that writes a book, if you appreciate that book, what do you then try to do

[00:00:55] RON: buy the book and then you try to emulate what you learned in the book, and [00:01:00] then you recommend the book.

[00:01:01] CORY: Yeah. And if it's someone else closer, then you try to get in their circle. Correct. Then you're like, oh my gosh, everything, this person's teaching speaks to me in this book. So I'm going to go try to see if they do coaching because you'll know based on the read, the writing of the book, right. Oh, so I want to bring Dan Henry and his book, digital millionaire secrets. So for anybody looking, I've got a copy of it in front of me. Now, this book was. He was already an authority in coaching and doing, doing a lot of stuff, but he still wrote it because he understood the power of being the authority and having that published book. Right. And so, but everywhere within this book, people like, he put little things like, oh, here, go to this website and get this freebie. Oh, you gotta give me your email. Oh, now I'm going to email you that I can help you help solve your problem. Right? Like, it's this perfect thing somebody bought this book. and then go to [00:02:00] a website, gives him their email and, and now they become part of his world he can sell to them all day every day.

[00:02:06] RON: Yep. Cause he owns the traffic different conversation in traffic. Go back and listen. At the end of the day, you have to be the authority in whatever niche that you're trying to create. Or no one's going to buy from you. It's really that simple.

[00:02:21] CORY: Yeah. So how do they become the authority? What's we just talked about being an author. What's something else they can do

[00:02:27] RON: have a podcast published.

[00:02:29] CORY: Pretty easy,

[00:02:32] RON: We may know some people to help you with that.

[00:02:36] CORY: That's right. So find a way to be an authority. Find a way to stand out. Uh, if you're a chiropractor, there's a million other chiropractors, right? Like how do you stand out? Oh, you have a podcast. That's chiropractor. Nobody else has that. Right.

[00:02:50] RON: I'm going to share a story. This is super random, but I'm sharing the story. It's a guy that's in my men's group at church he's the manager at a Firestone tire place. How many tire places are out [00:03:00] there. Tons. Okay. He felt his calling. He's great with kids. Like, it's crazy how good he is with kids. So he's like, I'm just going to bring that to work. And so he has got this huge following at work is the number one Firestone like center in the United States now. And it wasn't that way, but he caters to like women. Who has kids who either get stuck on the side of the road, he will change the tire. He's paid for multiple tires. He entertains our kids while they're getting their tires changed. So the women have been referring so many people to him because he's now the subject matter expert to help women out with tires.

[00:03:40] CORY: Yeah. Yeah. So anything you're doing. I find a way to stand out, right? A thousand people can change a tire and run a tire shop. A thousand people can be a chiropractor or a lawyer, right. Or an accountant. But if you have an a, if you're an accountant and you have a podcast that's [00:04:00] entertaining, fun and educational, guess what you're going to try to go find and be, you know, if you need an accountant, you're going to think of that person for. Right. So you want, you want people to think of you first, right? So Ron, you and I, our goal is to get so loud in regards to launching of podcasts and our done for you. Profits of podcasts. People only think of us first, right?

[00:04:24] RON: We want to be clean X to podcasts right. So that's what we want to be. We want to make sure the first name you think of is well names, Cory and Ron period.
