[00:00:00] CORY: Welcome to the impactors podcast. I'm Cory Carter
[00:00:04] RON: and I'm Ron. Cool.
[00:00:05] CORY: And we are the owners and founders of hindsight hacking media agency, podcast, funnels, graphics, and more head on over to get aig.com.
[00:00:15] RON: Guys, we created this podcast to help you go create an impact today. Not tomorrow, not yesterday. Today. We're taking all the fluff, all the BS out so you can go create.
[00:00:32] CORY: And today's topic is
[00:00:33] RON: your podcast social strategy and how to find it.
[00:00:39] CORY: Well, Ron, how do they make it? Number one, they just got to plan it, right? It goes back to the intentionality, start with the plan but it's people sometimes they think about, okay, I have, I have to record a podcast. I have to go post on Facebook. I have to do a Facebook live. I need to post on YouTube. I need to post on Instagram and then it [00:01:00] becomes so overwhelming people don't do anything. Right.
[00:01:03] RON: Yeah.
[00:01:03] CORY: So when you're talking about your podcasts, social strategy, find a way to make it frictionless for you for yourself. Right? Find a way to just get things scheduled. And for example, every time we recorded some kind of say, interview for hindsight hacking, we will, on the day that show releases, we will release probably 15 other graphics. But it's all scheduled ahead of time, along with the, when we recorded it right there, everything else happens ahead of time as well. And so that's part of the plan. It's we don't do the 15 graphics every single day. But on launch day, we do. So what are the, a couple of the other things that say we do or tips that we try to give when it comes to podcasts, social strategy,
[00:01:50] RON: do the work once you use it multiple times. So you repurposing content. So you're going to do your recording. We do it live. Um, so let's just talk [00:02:00] about our calendar for a second. So we do it live to Facebook, our group probably and YouTube. So we've just knocked out the live checklists off of our list. Then within probably 10 days, it's on all the platforms for podcasts. Right. Cause there's a little bit of a gap there. Then we break up all the show half hour show into a bunch of different content that we use. And we schedule out for our social, where we were doing three posts a day on all the social media outlet. Except Tik TOK. Cause Corey doesn't want to do tik tok even though he can do it, he just won't do it. So anyway, but that was our strategy. That was how we decided to get really loud and omnipresent. But guess what? We did not do more work for it. We planned more for it. We executed the work and once we got the system in place, we actually was less live [00:03:00] online, but people thought we were online. More and didn't understand how we got any work done. Cause they always saw us
[00:03:07] CORY: yep. A hundred percent. And that, that couldn't have been done without planning the strategy. Right. So we have clients, they promote their podcasts, one posts a day, every day of the week, right? Like a new show drops on a Wednesday and posts. Start for that on a Sunday and go through the following Saturday, right?
[00:03:26] Like before it launches and after it launches, there's posts related. And so anything is great if you only post some lunch day, uh, I think you could do more, but at the end of the day, find a strategy that works to promote the show and get the word out. And then again, it doesn't always have to be go listen. Right. Like quote cards are fun when they're quotes from people you actually talked to, right? Like don't you get so many quotes are found in the interwebs of just random people. You've never spoken to. Why not pull them from your show of people that you've had good [00:04:00] conversations from?
[00:04:00] RON: Yeah. You show is having a ton of value, use it, put the content out there, re purpose it brand it
[00:04:08] CORY: yep. Yep. So at the end of the day back with intentionality back with batch recording, we are focused this a lot this week on planning out how to be the most successful with your podcast. possible
[00:04:22] RON: Yeah, absolutely guys, no BS, no fluff. Justimpact. go make some..
